FAMINE

God told us that the days were coming when people will not be able to find anyone who will teach or preach HIS words (refer to above section "of hearing the words of the LORD"). The people will run from this place to that place, searching for someone that will speak the Words of GOD. No matter how far they run, the people will not find what they seek. They won't be able to hear the Words of GOD. That will be a very sad day indeed.

Are we close to that day? Are the preachers and teachers speaking God's words? God warned us the famine is coming. He didn't give the date when this will happen, only that it will happen. No, I do not know the date and do not pretend to know the date (or even the days) when this will happen. That would be pretentious of me, to say the least. However, I do feel that we all must begin to prepare ourselves as if we were living in "the days."

How do we prepare for a famine of the words of God? We prepare by grabbing a Bible, reading that Bible, and studying that Bible as if it were the last time we will be able to do so. Read the Holy Scriptures. Read the Words of GOD. Devour the Words of GOD; drink the Words of GOD down into your very soul. Swallow the Words and digest them. Memorize the Holy Scriptures.

Prepare, read, study, pray. Share with others the Words of GOD that you have learned. Teach the Words of GOD to your children and your children's children.

WARNING, WARNING, WARNING!!! A famine is coming! The time of the days no one knows, but be prepared. Prepare your children. Prepare your grandchildren. A famine of GOD's Words is on the way!
