A Throw-Away Society
In the United States, we are a throw-away society. More and more fast-foods are surfacing. Microwaves are cheaper to buy so that people can cook faster. Food comes in cans, packets, cardboard and plastic containers. All these containers go into the trash. The trash is then hauled to a dump site. The dump site becomes filled and then another dump site is created.
Next, some people started throwing away babies. They had a few minutes of fun. One to three months later, they realized they are pregnant with a child. What do they do now? They make a trip to a doctor who tears the baby out of the mother, piece by piece, and throws it away. Below is an excerpt from a story that appears online at Think About It Online. The story is named "My Abortion Story."
The baby's skull was already hardened so it required crushing to get it out. My baby was brought out of me piece by piece and thrown into the garbage. I know he felt pain because he was alive inside of me.
Where do we stop? The elderly are being murdered and babies are being thrown away.
What if you develop a minor disease? This disease you contracted won't kill you; but you will not be able to fully function at your job because once every three months you have to be off work to go to the doctor and have tests done. The times you need to be off are the end of the quarter and reports have to be run, checked, checked again, and then the final report has to be distributed (or a similar scenario for where you work).
Several scientists and physicians decide that people like you should be eliminated because you are a burden to society. It is time to throw you away. Society can not afford to carry you four times a year while you take off work to have some tests done. You are eliminated. Don't you wonder what awfully sounding name they will come up with to call your murder? They can't use "abortion" because that one is taken. They can't use "euthanasia" because that one is taken also. How about "useless", "disposable", "wasteable."
Where does it stop? Think about it.
Have a good day.
