The Breath and Spirit of God

"If He set His heart upon man, if He gather unto Himself His Spirit and His breath; all flesh shall perish together, and man shall turn again unto dust." Job 34:14-15

"If God decides to withdraw His breath and His Spirit from man, then all men will perish and return to dust." Job 34:14-15
(Linda Pearson)

No one can exist without the breath of God. For when He created Adam, God breathed into him the breath of life.

Regardless of what a man thinks his station in life is, we all breathe the same breath of life that God breathed into Adam. Even kings, and others who govern, depend upon God's breath to continue living. One should not be esteemed more highly than another. All, from the highest to the lowest, breathe the breath of God and are dependent upon that breath to continue living. When God withdraws His breath from man, man dies a physical death. When God withdraws His Spirit from man, man dies a spiritual death. We are dependent upon both to live a righteous life. God is in control on this earth, not man!

The haughty-minded will be brought low and those who have little value will be raised up. It doesn't matter whether it is against a whole nation or against one man. When God decides it is time, He removes His breath and His Spirit from them and all of those die!

God removes them all at once or one at a time. It does not matter. What matters is that God decides when to remove His breath and when to remove His Spirit. That decision does not belong to man.

Are you ready?
