God Has Blessed Me
God has blessed me by leading me to a place where I can help make a difference in people's lives. I joined the Qulin Missouri Lions Club because they help people with vision problems get help. The patients do not pay anything. The Lions Club and Mid-South Sight and Hearing Services of Memphis, Tennessee, pay all costs. If the families cannot afford the travel, meals expenses, the Lions Club helps with that too.
We have recently been working with a lady that has not been able to see for over two years because of cataracts and glaucoma. We sent her to Memphis for an examination and it turns out that she was a good candidate for eye surgery. She has had surgery on her left eye where the cataract was removed and the glaucoma treated. You can read more of her story here:

I thank God for allowing me to be a part of this organization. We are all volunteers and not one of us take any money for helping out. Those who help with the travel are reimbursed (if they will allow it) by the Qulin Lions Club. If you would like to donate to this worthy cause, then please contact the club's secretary/treasurer Glen A. Sedrick at: gsedrick@mycitycable.com. We appreciate any donation that you can send to help us help others like Nanetter M. Elgen.
Until next time, may God bless you.
