GOD Provided Through Creation

Genesis 1:11 And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so. 12 And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good. 13 And the evening and the morning were the third day.
God provided for us before He finished creation. Before God created a bird, fish, animal, or mankind, He created the food for all. He created the shelter for all. He created Salvation for all.
Did you notice in the above verses that the "seed was in itself"? How sweet is that? God made sure that the plants and the food would continue to multiply throughout the years by giving each its own seeds. Survival at its greatest. God provided for us all through His creation by thinking ahead and planning it all out.
Have you planned out your future? If not, don't worry. God has already done that. All you have to do is accept His plans for you. He sent His Son Jesus to rescue us from ourselves. Accept Jesus' death on the cross as payment for your sins. God has it all planned. God has provided. Won't you accept His provision for you today?
Until next time,
Linda

There Is Confusion

James 3:16 For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.
James 3:17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.

Are you filled with confusion? Does it seem as if everywhere you turn there is envying and strife?
First, let's look at "strife". What is it? According to Webster's Dictionary it means:

  1. Exertion or contention for superiority; contest of emulation, either by intellectual or physical efforts.

  2. Contention in anger or enmity; contest; struggle for victory; quarrel or war.

  3. Opposition; contrast

This is not the way God intended us to live.
1Corinthians 14:33 For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.
The fruit of God's Spirit are: love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith (Galatians 5:22).
That is the fruit of the Spirit. The above is what grows from a person who is serving the Lord.
Are you tired of all the confusion? Are you tired of the envy and strife? Accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour. Tell God that you are sorry for your wrong-doing (sin) and ask Him to forgive you. He will. He is waiting for you to turn to Him. He is waiting for you to accept His Son's, Jesus Christ's, death on the cross as payment for all your wrong-doing (sins).
Maybe you already accepted Jesus as your Saviour, but you are still living with envy, strife and confusion. Look inside yourself and make sure that you are not the one causing the confusion. If you are, kneel and pray. Ask God to forgive you. He is waiting for you!
Until next time,
Linda

An Honor or A Fool

The Bible tells us in Proverbs 20:3 "It is an honor for a man to cease from strife: but every fool will be meddling."
Which are you? An honored man (woman) or a fool? Only you can truly answer that question. There are others around you who will try to answer that question for you. But, it is you who must truly search your heart and decide what the true answer is.
Look in the mirror. Truly face yourself and answer the question? Are you an honored man (woman) because you cease from strife? Do you honestly do everything that you can to avoid strife? Do you try to make peace or cause disturbance? Remember, you are answering this for yourself. No one else needs to know the answer. The answer belongs only to you. God already knows the answer; so, you don't have to worry about Him, unless you try to lie to yourself. Tell the truth! For once, tell the truth to yourself.
Are you a fool? Do you go meddling in matters where you don't belong? Do you try to tend to the business of others and leave your own matters undone? Again, remember, you are looking into the mirror and answering this for yourself. Are you a busy body in other men's matters? (1 Peter 4:15 But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men's matters.)
Now ask yourself once again: an honor or a fool? You answer!
Until next time,
Linda

No More Bibles to Ghana

No more Bibles will be sent to Ghana. I have been in much prayer and meditation over this matter. Bibles will no longer be sent to Ghana. Those names that are on the list for a Bible to be sent to Ghana will be removed. God does not want His Holy Word ~ the Holy Bible to be used for the purposes it is being used for. God does not want this ministry to be a part of what is going on in Ghana through the selling of His Word there. The money is being used for means that it should never be used for and this ministry will not be a part of that! It is sad that there are so many people who have to destroy a good work for the Lord.~Linda

My Heart Is Sad

My heart is sad this morning. I have been praying about this for a few days. I received an email from someone in Ghana a few days ago. It stated, "Please stop sending Bibles. They are being sold over here (meaning in Ghana)."
My heart is broken. I am confused over this and am praying earnestly for God to let me know what I should do. I want to make sure I get Bibles to those who are earnestly seeking God's word. God's word was freely given and it should be freely passed on. That is what I feel in my heart. God's intent never was to make people rich off of His Holy Word. Not a richness of this world. Our riches from God are to come later after we have finished our tasks here on this earth that God gives us to do.
I will not send out any more Bibles until I know that is what God intends for me to do. Please pray with me over this situation and pray for God to give me discernment to send only to those who are earnestly seeking His Word.~Linda
